Five magnetic attachments
What Each Attachment Does
Every Xtreme attachment is magnetic, so it clicks straight on and pulls straight off — no twisting, no lining anything up. Attachments get hot in use, so let them cool before you swap.
The wider of the two nozzles. Directs the airflow across a whole section, so it is the one you will have on for most of the blow-dry.
The narrow one. A thin, tightly focused stream of air for the final pass over the top layer — less flyaway, more shine, without flattening the style.
Spreads the airflow so curls and waves dry in their natural shape instead of being blown apart. Cup, hold, lift.
Use it on the left side of your head so the curl wraps away from your face. The airflow does the wrapping for you.
The mirror image of the left barrel, with the airflow reversed. Use it on the right side for curls that fall the same way.
Cleaning & care
Reverse Cycle Auto Clean
The Xtreme cleans its own filter. Lint and fine hair build up behind the filter cover and choke the airflow, which is the number one reason a dryer starts to feel slow or run hot. The whole process takes under a minute.
- Leave it plugged in and switched on at the wallThe power needs to be on at the powerpoint for the clean cycle to run.
- Switch the dryer itself offUse the power switch on the dryer. The dryer is off, the wall is on.
- Hold the cool shot button for about 5 secondsKeep holding until the reverse cycle kicks in — you will hear it change direction.
- Let it run for about 10 secondsThe airflow reverses and pushes the trapped lint back out of the filter.
- Slide off the filter cover and brush it cleanTake the cover off the base of the handle and brush away the lint and fluff that has collected.
- Click the cover back onMake sure it is seated properly before you use the dryer again.
